Server Rules
1. No Cheating of any sort. This includes all hacks, third party communications(Ghosting), Skywalking, Exploits, Illegal Scripts, etc. We are a zero tolerance clan. If you are caught cheating, goodbye. IF YOU SAY YOU CHEAT, THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED CHEATING, GOODBYE. If you suspect someone is cheating don't announce it to the entire server. Either record a demo yourself or come to the forums and post about it. Announcing it to the world will only let the one who is hacking know that we are onto him/her. We will acknowledge and assess the situation. Please do not continue to harass us about the person who is cheating. Once we acknowledge your statement we will do our best to resolve the situation. Again if no admin is available, please report the person in our forums, reports that don't include a demo will not be taken seriously.

2. Cannot Be AFK. If you are AFK without notifying an admin, you will be kicked to free up slots for other players.

3. No Spamming. This is for chat, mic, smoke grenade spam, flash spamming, and flashing your team purposely. We have not allowed smoke spamming due to it lagging other players as well as the server. Smoke spamming is considered throwing smokes continuously from spawn even after the initial smoked area is already covered well by smoke. NADE SPAMMING IS LEGAL. You will be warned, then kicked, then banned for one week.

4. Respect all Players. Disrespecting the members of HBK and other community members will not be tolerated. You will receive only one warning. No racism, sexism, or nubism is allowed on this server. Warn, kick, ban.

5. No Abuse. No form of abuse or discrimination real or implied will be tolerated by ANY admin on this server. Give respect to all other players on the server, and try to avoid arguments. No racism, sexism, or nubism is allowed on this server. Warn, kick, ban.

6. No Uneccessary Tagnames. Your name and your tag will be scrutinized. There will be no tolerance for nicknames that glorify terrorism or attacks on the United States of America or its citizens. Examples include Al-Qaeda, Jihad, Mujhadeen, Osama, Saddam and Taliban. These names are not all inclusive. Names that glorify or promote the use of hacks and cheats will not be permitted.

7. Follow all Admins. Please follow the instructions of the Admins at all times. If you have issues with what the admin of the server is saying, please visit our forums and post your concerns. The clan leaders will handle the situation.

8. No Team Stacking. If the talent is overwhelmingly lopsided, then make it right, otherwise an Admin will make it right for you. Also, please auto-select when joining a game. This will prevent team stacking and also ensure that the side that needs a player gets a player.

9. Finish Objectives. Please attempt to accomplish mission objectives. If it is a de_map then plant or defuse the bomb, cs_map rescue or guard the hostages, as_map assassinate or rescue the VIP, etc.

10. Camping is allowed as long as it is camping to get the objective complete. i.e. Camping b tunnels to cover b tunnels after the bomb has been planted in b. You will be warned, kicked, then banned if you are found guilty of illegal camping.

11. Noob Abuse Abuse of "Noobs" will not be tolerated. We are a Noob friendly server. If you are a noob, please identify yourself to an admin so that we can keep an eye on you and help you out. If you have questions or need advice ask an admin. Do not be worried about what the other players think. We were all Noobs once, and we have not forgotten how difficult it can be to find a great server and great people to play with.

12. No Clan Tag Copying. If you are not an HBK member or member of any clan in our server, do not put the tag on.

13. NO SERVER ADVERTISING You will be warned, then kicked, then banned.

NOTE: Please do not waste our time with cheat accusations unless you are sure they are cheating. As amazing as it seems there are better Counter-Strike players out there than you.

Admin Rules

PLEASE NOTE. If there is any report of admin abuse, two warnings will be established depending on severity of the offense. Thereafter, ~:|HBK|:~ will be forced to remove without refund any admin access from the convicted. Admin abuse is but not limited to the breaking of any server rules listed above. Admin abuse will not be tolerated. Convictions are made through a discussion between ~|:HBK|:~ team members in which a decision will be made. There are to be no arguments and/or appeals to the decision the team makes upon dismissal of an admin.

1. No Admin Abuse - Do not use any admin commands on players that could be potentially harassing without first having a clear need to do so. Do not kick players if they are not being disruptive.

2. Remain Mature and Objective – Don’t lose your cool. Nothing will drive people out of the server faster than an Admin who can’t control himself or herself when in control of the server.

3. HUD Messages - Please only use HUD messages (tsay, csay, etc.) to announce AFK, knife kills (ninja strikes again!), or nade kills (touchdown). Anything else that needs to be said, needs to be put on admin chat or regular chat. HUD messages take more CPU usage than other chat methods. In order to keep HBK running a well maintained server, we would like to save the extra CPU usage for the smooth running of the server, not you conversasions between each other.

4. Cheaters, Tk’ers, Spammers - Ban ALL cheaters, Kick hostage killers, Kick TK'ers, Kick spammers (only mic and chat spamming, not nade or wall spams). Ban only obvious hackers. Before banning, admins are required to make a demo (console> record "hacker") as well as a screenshot providing sufficient evidence or other proofs of cheating. If you are not sure if someone is over spamming the mic, put up a vote kick. If they keep coming in and spamming ban them.

5. Language and disrespect - CS is a mature rated game and language is often necessary. Smack talk is accepted. However, extreme cases of profanity, sexist, racist, or other offensive remarks will not be tolerated. If a player is being disrespectful towards an admin, our clan, the server, or other players, then please act accordingly:
a. Warn
b. Kick
c. Ban - if player returns and continues to be disruptive.

6. Follow all server rules. Our policy follows the warn, kick, ban method unless specified otherwise in the rules.

These rules must be followed at all times. If an admin violates these rules then penalties may result in loss of access to admin functions or suspended until further notice.

If you have witnessed admin abuse, or have been a victim of it, then please report all accounts to the “Report Admin Abuse” section on our forums. Please make sure you have a screenshot or can otherwise prove your case. If there is a lack of evidence the complaint will be logged but not much can be done. However, if further complaints occur then the case will be taken into consideration and an investigation will be conducted.
